LinQpay Inc., a leading Global Payment and Mobile Payment Services provider, announced today it has been selected to supply the electronic payment processing for the University of Johannesburg’s online payments.
The University of Johannesburg implemented the internet student self-service module, which allows students to register and interact virtually with the University.
Students can now make secure and convenient electronic payments through the University’s website. LinQpay’s payment platform unifies the University’s five campuses and 40,000 person student body through a single online payment solution for tuition payment. Students have the added advantage of paying with credit cards while the University receives immediate payment, full reconciliation and unified reporting. LinQpay's payment infrastructure is designed to scale to meet peaks in demand, helping the University of Johannesburg’s students have a safe and swift online experience.
“The addition of an online payment solution offers an additional and convenient payment channel for the students, which in turn reduces administration costs and strain on the University, particularly at registration time. “says James Byler, CEO of LinQpay. “LinQpay’s experience in delivering eCommerce payment solutions was a key factor in securing the partnership. The University required a robust, secure and dependable solution and we are delighted to have been chosen to support their growing online business”.
