11 March 2008, San Diego, California - LinQpay Announces Appointment of Bankserv CEO, David Kvederis to Board of Directors


LinQpay Inc. the World leader in Mobile and Global Payment Services today announced the addition of David Kvederis to its Board of Directors.

Mr Kvederis brings more than 37 years of banking, financial and payment services experience to the LinQpay Board. Currently, Mr Kvederis is President and CEO of Bankserv. After founding Bankserv in 1996, Bankserv enjoyed rapid growth and gained a market leadership role under Mr Kvederis’s guidance. A pioneer in the electronic payment industry, Mr Kvederis spearheaded the creation of familiar services such as direct deposit, private-label electronic check conversion and global wire transfer outsourcing during the 1980’s and early 1990’s. Prior to his tenure at Bankserv, Mr Kvederis headed Wells Fargo Bank’s corporate banking and cash management divisions and was Chairman of the Board of the National and Calwestern Automated Clearing House Associations. Before his 15-year association with Wells Fargo, Mr Kvederis served six years with Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh and six years with Continental Illinois Bank in Chicago.

As a free-market advocate, in 1993 Mr Kvederis worked for the U.S. Department of Treasury and served as an advisor to the Government of Lithuania, where he assisted in the reform of the nation’s banking sector and its transition to a free-market economy. An active member and leader of the National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA), Mr Kvederis has served both as a Director and as Chairman of its Board of Directors. He has also served as a member of NACHAs Executive Committee since 1986 and was responsible for the development and implementation of its highly successful National Direct Deposit Marketing Plan. Mr Kvederis is also past-President of the Calwestern Automated Clearing House Association (CACHA). In that role, he led the development of the private sector ACH processing system. In 1999, he was elected to the NACHA Electronic Check Council Steering Committee. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Mr Kvederis holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.
