Taking this into consideration, LinQpay continues to perfect its technologies, services, and standards that protect our merchants, their transactions and sensitive information, and ultimately the consumers and merchant account holders themselves. LinQpay’s systems that have been successfully audited by PWC, VISA International and completed security reviews with dozens of banks through out the globe. In addition LinQpay has been awarded; PCI DSS compliant by Ambiron Trust Wave. Redundant co-located authorization, settlement and reconciliation system are managed for optimal up-time and security. LinQpay is dedicated to providing the most reliable, secure and scalable payment solution to our merchants. Protected information 1. LinQpay maintains physical and logical security safeguards to protect the integrity of processing and the data. 2. Merchants that use LinQpay's services are only allowed to view or edit information about themselves and their own customers. 3. Access to LinQpay's payment server processing and/or merchant accounting area is limited to registered merchants only. 4. Every employee and contractor is obliged to sign a "Security Form" that binds them to LinQpay's Personnel Security Policy. The Personnel Security Policy gives directives regarding: • The use of user-ID's and passwords • The contents of documents • Storing of data • Locking of workstations • Installation of software and hardware • Sending confidential information via email • Physical security 5. A user ID and Password authentication are required to access and utilize LinQpay's merchant accounting area. 6. Using the 're-direct' service, payment detail information (such as credit card number and expiry date) supplied by buyers is only stored at LinQpay, and not on the merchant site. 7. With the 'API' service, the merchant also has access to the buyers' payment detail information (such as credit card number and expiry date). 8. Only authorised personnel can change LinQpay's website content. LinQpay monitors all changes to the website content to ensure that unauthorized changes have not been made. 9. LinQpay utilizes anti-virus software to protect the integrity of its applications and data. Updates to this anti-virus software are obtained on a daily basis. 10. LinQpay's network is protected by multiple firewalls, which are configured to limit unauthorized access. 11. Access (and denied access) to the firewall is logged. Logfiles are analyzed by intrusion detection software. Changes to files are logged by a file integrity assessment tool and analyzed by support staff. Support staff undertake corrective actions if necessary. 12. The payment status messages that LinQpay returns to the merchant do not contain shoppers' payment data. LinQpay gives the merchant the option to receive these messages encrypted and digitally signed to prevent eavesdropping and manipulation. This requires a secure server at the merchant's side. 13. LinQpay's payment service is hosted at a tier one primary host internet service provider with physical access control procedures, camera monitoring, fire alarms and fire extinction systems. Reliable Operations 1. LinQpay's systems are automatically monitored for availability every 5 minutes throughout the whole day, 365 days per year. All irregularities are immediately reported to support staff. 2. Transactions are backed up periodically through the day to increase the likelihood of recovery should the production location be damaged or destroyed. 3. Back-ups are physically stored in a different location from the production site. 4. A secondary production location is permanently kept available. 5. A Disaster Recovery Plan has been developed to ensure that, should a disaster occur, an orderly transition to the secondary processing location occurs with minimum impact on the day-to-day business activities. 6. LinQpay's payment service is hosted at a tier one primary host internet service provider with an Uninterruptible Power Supply, a dual backup power generator, redundant processors and redundant access to the internet. |
